Our Kagoshima matcha offers a gentle introduction to Japanese green tea, with a naturally light sweetness and a deep, vibrant green color. Its velvety texture and mellow profile make it ideal for everyday bowls of matcha or creamy lattes, delivering smooth umami without intensity or bitterness.
Preparation
For one serving: sift 1 tsp (2 g / 0.07 oz) of matcha to remove any clumps. Add 60 ml (2 oz) of water at 80°C (176°F). Whisk briskly in a W‑motion for about 15 seconds until a fine, glossy foam forms. Enjoy straight for a pure ceremonial experience, or pour over 100 ml of milk for an elevated matcha latte. Sweeten naturally only if desired.
